Marilyn Bergner was born November 5, 1940, in Arkansa and she passed on March 31, 2020, in Louisville, KY. She was a retired Real Estate Agent from Remax Action First on Bluegrass Parkway. Marilyn had previously served as a chemical dependency counselor at the former JADAC and enjoyed socializing with the recovering community in Greater Louisville. She was passionate about spending time with her sons and grandsons in Georgia and creative cooking. Marilyn was also a previous partner with her husband in their automotive repair service in Frankfort, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Ethel Sherr.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 28 years Bob “Doc” Bergner; two sons, Barry and Daryl Figa of Atlanta, GA; two grandsons, Elliot and Aaron Figa also of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Vickie (Gene) Chapman and Patricia (Jim) Hicks and brother, Mike (Gladys) Freeman.
Because of the Coronavirus there will be a private burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. There will be a Celebration of Marilyn’s Life announced at a later date.
