Norma Jean Monroe, 71, passed away on October 5, 2020. She worked at the L&N building as a secretary. In Norma’s spare time she enjoyed working crossword puzzles, crocheting and needlepoint.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Watts; father, Herbert L. Watts and the father of her son, George C. Smith, Jr.
Norma leaves behind to cherish her memories, daughter, Pamela (Scott) Landrum; son, Kristopher Monroe; grandson, Matthew Scott Landrum and her close friends, Vicki Blevins, Peggy Richardson and Michael Satterly.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 8, 2020, from 1pm-8pm at Neurath & Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 1832 W. Market Street, Louisville, KY. A celebration of Norma’s life will be Friday, October 9, 2020, beginning at 11am at the funeral home.
Norma will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens, 279 Landis Ln, Mt Washington, KY.
